Shakira And Boyfriend Gerard Piqué Name Their Second Son Sasha

Shakira has named her newborn son Sasha Piqué Mubarek. The name is understood to be  of Greek and Russian descent and means 'Warrior' and 'Defendant of mankind.'

Hospital representatives have since confirmed singer Shakira and her newborn child are both in excellent health.
