Lobi Stars striker Seriki Audu tragically died December 20 aged 23 in a car crash. The young footballer was travelling with his wife and daughter from his home town in Yobe to Bauchi, when the accident occurred.
The club officials confirmed the information adding that his spouse and child survived the accident. Both relatives of the late player are currently at hospital.
